February 10 Election

Ballot check! As of Friday night, 8221 ballots were turned in from within the Mukilteo School District boundary for the Feb. 10 election. Huge thanks to everyone who has already voted!

Still holding onto yours? No worries, there is still time! Just make sure your ballot is in an official drop box by 8 p.m. on Feb. 10 so it counts. 

USPS heads-up: If you didn’t mail your ballot at least a week before Election Day, it may not arrive in time to be postmarked, so a drop box is your safest bet.

STEAM Night at Serene Lake Elementary

People gather around a table with building blocks and tablets for a robot programming challenge.Serene Lake Elementary held STEAM Night on Jan. 29 and welcomed over 200 families for an engaging evening of hands-on learning. Families explored interactive stations led by staff and community partners including Snapology, iCode of Lynnwood, Sno-Isle Public Library, Mathnasium of Mukilteo, and PUD, with students using punch cards to earn generous raffle prizes donated by vendors. Additional highlights included a photo booth, Capital One Project representatives sharing construction updates, BZ Donut Truck, donations made by Chaison Orthodontics, and a take-home STEAM activity to wrap up the night. 
This wonderful educational event was made possible by a $500 grant from the Mukilteo Schools Foundation.
