The Harmony Keepers - June 8, 2026

As a culminating project with foundry 10, an educational organization, students in drama class at Voyager Middle School performed The Harmony Keepers for elementary students across the district. The play was created by the students to empower elementary students to help them manage big emotions and learn how to work together to build friendships.

To make the play fun and bring it to life, the drama students had the opportunity to work with professional puppeteer Annett Mateo, foundry10’s Duncan Frost and Meredith Berlin, to make three extra-large puppets that moved along the stage with 20 smaller stage puppets. A Facilitator Guide was also made for grades K-5 to support social emotional learning in elementary school classrooms, as well as games that incorporate the concept of the play. It has been an incredible partnership and, from start to finish, student driven.
